Mondays have XOYO. Tuesdays have Ministry. Thursdays have Piccadilly. Wednesdays have Slug DECIBEL.

Since I started at Imperial 4 years ago, Imperial College Union has been lacking its own identifiable night…until now! On Wednesday 12 October we are launching DECIBEL

DECIBEL will be the biggest night at Beit Bars with a full three-room takeover of the building packed with wall-to-wall fun. Expect some of London’s top DJs, exclusive drinks deals and student performances. What’s more, this is all exclusive to Imperial students (but don’t worry, you can bring your mates along too!). We want DECIBEL to be a safe space that you can truly let your hair down, shake off your troubles and have some good old-fashioned fun.

For those of you who haven’t popped over to Beit Quad yet, we’re lucky host three different venues; all have their own charm and will be open for every DECIBEL. Our venues are no strangers to hosting epic nights and events. We’ve had some of the biggest legends in the world perform on our stages – from Queen and Elton John to David Bowie and Jimmy Hendrix!

FiveSixEight is everyone’s favourite location in South Ken to pop by for a pint and curly fries during the day. But at night, get ready to switch out those fries for some dancing shoes as some of London’s best DJs spin the best tunes.

Our legendary Union Bar dates back to 1957 and has those old-school pub vibes with the wood-panelled bar and tankards. Luckily we have updated our draught since then!

Last but not least, we have Metric. This club night is an ode to the Metric of old, once known as Decibel! In here our headliner DJs will take to the stage and keep you dancing until the early hours. We have some incredible surprises coming up this term and we can’t wait for things to kick off!

DECIBEL kicks off on Wednesday 12 October with a very special guest. We can’t wait to see you at the cheapest and most exclusive night in South Ken that will have your Thursday morning lectures shaking in its boots.
