What are the Academic Representation Forums?
The Union runs the Taught Academic Representation Forum (TARF) and Research Academic Representation Forums (RARF) for all UG academic reps to attend and all PG reps to attend but which also has a select membership as detailed by the Terms of Reference for each forum. These forums are chaired by the Deputy President Education and are attended by select members of the Representation Team and College staff members where applicable.
TARF Overview
This forum is for all Undergraduate Academic Reps and all Taught Postgraduate Reps. This forum allows students to raise any concerns they have about their academic experience whether that be assessment and feedback, learning and teaching, IT resources and we also encourage reps to shout about all the work they are doing and any incentives they need support from us on.

RARF Overview
This forum is for all Research Postgraduate Reps and is held in partnership with the Graduate School. Similarly to TARF, this forum allows students to raise any concerns about their academic experience and raise this with the Union and Graduate School.
