Women in SET

Women in SET aims to help you mingle with women across departments, both undergrads and postgrads.

Furthermore, we partner with global companies to bring you CV workshops, interview and internship advice, company insights etc. and help you grow your network.

Our annual events include: 1) Annual Industry Networking Event: all our sponsors are invited and offer a large networking platform

2) International Women's Day Formal Dinner: our members get the chance to have a fancy 3-course meal sitting right next to senior female representatives coming from our sponsor firms! We held it at the Dorchester Hotel with 100 people in 23/24 (see pic above)!

3) Rooftop Bar Networking (NEW 24/25): our brand new event, where you can network with employees from our sponsor firms at a rooftop bar!

We also raise awareness about STEM opportunities among girls at high schools. We have partnered with charities and conduct STEM workshops at different schools and encourage students to pursue a career in STEM - great opportunity to volunteer with us!

We also plan talks with renowned academics from Imperial and other unis to talk about their work and challenges faced throughout their career.

Lastly, we plan A LOT of social events: movie nights, boat parties, bowling, dinners, picnics and more!
